Explain how you can use an array to find partial products for \(4 \times 36\).

Answer (3)

Break up 36 into 30 and six. Then you make 30 in 4 rows and then 6 into four rows. Then you add both answeres wich would be 144. You can also estimate and change the 36 to a 35 and change the 4 to a five which would make it easier because you know your basic facts which are 5 x7 equals thirty five.But just use the top answer fo now.
Hope i helped!!!!!!!!!!!**

To find the** partial products for 4 times 36 using an array,** you separate 36 into 30 and 6, multiply 4 by each of those, and then add those results together. The partial product of 4 times 30 is 120, and 4 times 6 is 24. Adding those together, 4 times 36 equals 144. ;

To find 4 × 36 using an array, break 36 into 30 and 6. Multiply each part by 4 to get partial products of 120 and 24, then add them to get a total of 144. This method simplifies the multiplication process by breaking it down into manageable steps.
