How do you solve the equation \(2t + 9.4 = 39.8\)?

Asked by Naombi

Answer (3)

2t+9.4=39.8 2t=39.8-9.4 2t=30.4 t=30.4/2=15.2

first subtract 9.4 on both side so you get 2t=30.4 then divide the 2 on both side to get the variable by it self and you get t=15.2

To solve the equation 2 t + 9.4 = 39.8 , subtract 9.4 from both sides to isolate 2 t . Then, divide by 2 to find that t = 15.2 .
