Solve the proportion \(\frac{4}{5} = \frac{28}{x}\) using two different methods. Explain each method.

4x=28x5 4x=140 4x=35
or you can use the horizontal method
4=28 5=x
you know that 4x7=28 so you obviously know that 5x7 has to give you x which is 35

The proportion 4/5 = 28/x can be solved using the Cross- Multiplication Method and the Substitution Method. Both methods will provide the answer x = 35. ;
