Antonio makes only one size latte, and he uses \(\frac{1}{3}\) cup of milk to make each drink. How many lattes can he make with \(\frac{7}{9}\) cup of milk?

1/3 of a cup = 3/9 of a cup. If you have 7/9 of a cup, the most 3/9ths that can fit in it is two 3/9ths, which equals 6/9. 6/9 < 7/9. Another latte would give you 9/9, and 9/9 > 7/9 so that's not possible. So two lattes can be made with 7/9 cups of milk.

Antonio can make 2 lattes with 9 7 cup of milk, using 3 1 cup of milk for each latte. After making 2 lattes, he will have 3 1 cup of milk left over. Thus, he cannot make another complete latte with the remaining milk.
