If we divide 0.34 by a number that is less than 1 and greater than zero, the quotient will be greater than the dividend. For example 0.34 : 0.1 = 3.4. 3.4 > 0.34 But 10 is greater than 1. So the quotient will be less than 0.34. Answer: The quotient will be less than the dividend.

The quotient when dividing 0.34 by 10 will be less than the original number (0.34). Since dividing by a number greater than 1 results in a smaller value, the quotient is decreased. Therefore, the answer is that the quotient is less than the dividend.
