To create equivalent fractions for 5 2 ​ , multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number. For example, multiplying by 3 gives 15 6 ​ , and multiplying by 4 gives 20 8 ​ . Both of these fractions are equivalent to 5 2 ​ .
